The Model Prayer And
Missions The Model Prayer provides the believer with an outline of prayer. It also offers an outline for intercession. You can use the Model Prayer to plead for God's work of grace in a nation or among a people group. The following prayer guide uses the Model Prayer as a way to plead for the salvation of people. In order to use the prayer guide place the name of the nation or people group in the blank. Father, You are God. You reign in heaven. Heaven in Your throne and earth is Your footstool. I pray that __________________ will recognize that You are the only true God who reigns over all. Reveal Your greatness and Your power to them. Reveal to them that all other gods are foolish, powerless, and will lead them to an eternal hell. I ask that they will turn from their sin to You through Christ so that they can know You as their Father. Father, I pray that Your kingdom would come to __________________. I ask that You will send missionaries to ________________. I plead that Your kingdom would advance and spread among them as they repent of their sin and turn to Jesus Christ in faith. Holy Spirit, I plead that You would manifest Your power in _________________ by exalting Jesus Christ and drawing _________________ to Him. Father, I ask that Your kingdom would be established in the hearts of ________________ as they turn to Him in faith and repentance. Remove any obstacles to Your kingdom in _________________. Father, I ask that Your will would be done in ___________________. I pray that ______________ would be submissive to You and Your will. Grant to them a heart to obey You. I plead that they will have a willingness to submit to You and Your holy and perfect will. Let Your will be done in _____________________ as it is done heaven. Father, I pray that You would meet the needs of __________________. I ask You to supply their every need according to Your power and riches. Pour out Your blessings on them. Show them that You are the true God, the source of all blessing. Let them know that it is You who meet their needs. Cause them to see that You are the only One who can meet their deepest need. Father, I plead that ________________ would experience Your forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Let them know the sweetness and the peace of forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ. Break the stronghold that he has over __________________. Destroy the sins that he has used to hold _______________ in bondage.
